About Pretty Busy

Welcome to Pretty Busy Brooklyn. I started this website in May 2020, as a need for social distancing finally allowed for me to bring this long-held idea to life.

I moved to Brooklyn, NY right after graduating Syracuse University, where I met my husband. After relocating up and down the East Coast for most of my childhood, I love calling Brooklyn my home. If I’m not here, you will find me down on the Jersey shore, a place close to my heart and central to my family.

I am an public school educator in Brooklyn, and my work is my purpose. I am most myself when I am surrounded by my incredible community of young women. Currently, I am working to complete my second Master’s degree in education.

Aside from my love of fashion and beauty, I am a self-proclaimed product junkie and fashionista (voted best dressed multiple years running by my students- the opinion that matters most!).

I’m passionate about sharing what I love with others. I’m a strong believer that the way you look can dictate so much about how you feel about yourself and your ability to handle business throughout our pretty busy days. I hope that this space can help you pencil in your beauty fix and find time for to take care of yourself.
