The skincare series: brands I’m invested in featuring Farmacy

I know that skincare can be a big investment. That’s why I wanted to create my own series featuring the brands that I believe are really worth the investment. Over the last two years, I have spent a significant amount of money on skincare- probably equivalent to what I spend on food. I’ve tried a lot of really great products, and some that just leaving me feeling…eh.

I’m sharing one of my more recent skincare lines that I have found, but quickly fallen in love with. Their products are well-priced, are considered clean beauty, and really work. I have yet to meet one of their products that I don’t love.

Farmacy’s whole company premise is a skincare spin on farm-to-table – essentially, farm-to-face, is what they call it. They use natural ingredient to create really potent products. In fact, a lot of the ingredients are farmed in the Northeast. If you’re not sure what “clean” beauty really is, I suggest you check out this list of toxins they do not use, that many U.S. regulations allow. Farmacy adheres to EU standards, which are stricter than our own, similar to how TATCHA follows Japanese standards.

Another positive plus is their sustainable focus in packaging, something a lot of clean beauty brands may miss the mark on. This means that all of their packaging is recyclable. It also happens to be clean, simple, and cute, which never hurts. I love their product names, and their branding focus on raw ingredients.

Here are the Farmacy products that I have used and love:

From top right, clockwise, see my picks from Farmacy below.
  • Dew It All total eye cream – Farmacy’s one-stop-shop eye product- if you don’t believe in or have the budget for a daytime and nighttime eye cream, then this is the total package. With a focus on fine lines, hydration, and signs of stress, this eye cream is a great product that leaves a dewy finish with the benefits of hyaluronic acid- a necessary ingredient in any skincare regiment.
  • Cheer Up brightening vitamin c eye cream with acerola cherry – if you missed my post on my favorite daytime eye creams, be sure to check out some real time results for one of my favorite eye creams of all time. This light-weight formula provides a gorgeous glow that doesn’t feel heavy under your eyes, while also targeting dark circles. I love the way this product sinks into the skin, and keeps my under-eyes (a really dry spot for me) hydrated, even under makeup.
  • Green Clean makeup meltaway cleansing balm – probably one of my favorite cleansing balms I have tried, for the texture and the incredible job it does at breaking down makeup. If you aren’t using a cleansing balm and you wear makeup or SPF during the day, I cannot recommend adding one in to your routine enough. This one is also one of the most cost-effective at just over $10 an ounce. Use with these cloths for the freshest and cleanest face- you will be disturbed with what comes off.
  • Honey Grail ultra-hydrating facial oil – I go in depth on all of the reasons I love facial oils, and why I incorporated them into my routine in this post, but this one is one of my MVPs. The smell, the texture, and the hydration that it offers are really no match for any moisturizer, especially if you are using acids, retinols, or any other forms of exfoliation in your routine. It has a chamomile smell, and leaves your skin dewy when you wake up in the morning. I use it as my final step in my skincare routine, and even on the ends of my hair when they are on days 2-5 without a wash.
  • Honeymoon Glow AHA resurfacing night serum with hydrating honey + gentle flower acids – probably one of the original cult-favorite products from Farmacy, this resurfacing night serum is a game changer. If you struggle with acne, skin texture, or scarring, you need this in your routine, at least three times a week. You can really feel this product working- it tingles when you apply post-toner to your skin. It has helped so much with my own scarring- you can read more about my journey with acne, scarring, and my love of acids here to learn more about why you need these miracle workers in your routine, stat! Acids can be super drying, so the fact that this has a hydration component makes it a real winner in my books.
  • Honey Potion renewing antioxidant mask – this. mask. is. the. shit. Not only does it look like liquid gold, but it is, in my opinion. It is a splurge purchase, but it lasts forever, and is so much better than any other mask I have used for dry and dull skin. When I was on accutane with the most parched skin, this really brought my skin back to life. Another product that you can feel working, it really hydrates and revives skin- and it just feels good on (your face gets all warm and a little tingly) with a soothing scent. If you want to feel like you’re at a spa at home, get this. It’s often out of stock, so scoop it up while you can. This is a holy grail product for me!
My tried and trues for travel! I don’t go anywhere without both of these products.

You can buy most of these products on Sephora, but Farmacy’s site also offers a rewards program and you can get 15% off of your first purchase, plus free shipping over $40 (lower than what you need to spend at Sephora). They also have virtual consultations if you want to start your skincare routine with just one line, and great sets that include a mini-routine to try before you buy the full-size products.

Bottom line, I love these products, and I would try anything from this line, even with the costs. Next up, I am going to try this toner and this cleanser (for my second cleanse). I’ll keep you posted, and hope you try and enjoy this brand as much as I do! Let me know what you love below.
